It's how we get to know each other better. Share some stories and just be together for a bit.

It's also just fun. Couple-y fun. Buck and I went on dates all the time but...not really good ones. This'll be different.

[Steve kisses Loki's cheek tenderly.]

[ a slow smile appears, faint but pleased. ]

[ loki runs his fingers down steve's cheek. ]

I do have the power to give anyone what they want. All they need to do is name it.

[He takes Loki's hand and kisses his palm before just holding it.]

[ his ears flush slightly. ]

[ loki hums, brushing his fingers against steve's cheeks. ]

A good man.

[Steve turns his face into the touch, starved for affection like this.]

A kind man. One who's honest and maybe a little overly blunt, but... One who has a good heart inside.

[ loki smiles, his eyes bright. he continues to run his fingers down steve's cheeks, soothing. ]

No one has ever said such things about me. I couldn't even dream about it.

[Steve's eyes shut, just enjoying someone so close and so gentle. It does more for him than the making out from before to cement the idea that they were now in a relationship. A real one.]

I'll make it a habit, then.

[ loki kisses the corner of steve's lips with a smile. ]

[Steve turns and steals a small kiss.]

[He flinches a little, not sure how the petname would land.]
