Steve passes out for a solid six hours. He didn't even blink when the ice pack was put against his ribs nor did he move when the blankets were wrapped up around him. In fact, the only movement he makes in all those hours is to turn and curl into the space where Bucky must normally sleep. His ribs heal up and the scent of the other man is comforting. When Steve finally wakes up, he feels well-rested and calm.

Until he looks at a clock and nearly swears.

Sheepish, he walks out into the main room, looking better but also a bit (emotionally) worse. "I am really bad at keeping dates."
